Characteristics
:
Hung-His mushroom looks cute for its clustered
stipe with little black fungus umbrella on top.
This edible mushroom becomes popular soon after
their introduction from Japan, and taste delicious
to be stir-fried or cooked in soup. Do not wash
the mushroom by water and clean saw dust only
before stir-frying. Quick stir-fry in high heating
will keep its original flavor and make it taste
crispy. Hung-His mushroom's stipe taste a little
bitter like Chinese herb, Ling-Zi, so it's also
named "Ling-Zi Mushroom".
