Characteristics

Taiwan primarily produces two types of head lettuce.
The first variety consists of tightly packed leaves,
commonly known as crisp heads, or iceberg lettuce.
The other variety is known as butter heads, and
is distinguished by its smaller, softer, and thinner
leaves.
